Hello there,
we are a professional band called "The Charcoal Sunset" , looking for a female or male bass player living in Berlin, preferably able to play both electric and double bass on a professional level and sing backing vocals.
We just published an album with the renowned Americana-label "Bear Family" and are about to record the next one, as soon as the band is complete again.

We are especially looking for somebody who is more interested in serving the idea of a song than to show off with her or his skills and ego.
We use to work and practice on a regular basis in our own rehearsal room near Ostkreuz, which you would be welcome to share with us in case everything fits well.
As you can hear, our music is influenced by musicians and bands like Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, The Counting Crows, Calexico, Tom Petty, Ryan Adams, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Justin Townes Earle, Jonathan Wilson and The War On Drugs, just to name a few.
As a band we love to stick to our own visions rather than to fulfill other people's expectations, which turned out to be a good and successful concept over the last years.
As a bass player you would be very welcome to contribute to our creative process and most importantly, play well-paid concerts with us all over Europe.
Besides our present repertoire there is a huge material of songs we wish to bring to the point to record and play on stage.
