Ich bin seit Jahren sehr aktiv mit meinen zwei Bands teenweek und The Sprees sowie mit meinem Solo-Projekt Phil Farrow and Free City Rhymes. Was mir (und uns) bei all diesen Projekten fehlt, ist eine zweite Stimme für gemeinsame und geteilte Lead- & Backing-Vocals, am liebsten mit eigenen Song-Ideen und dem Interesse, gemeinsam an Songs zu schreiben und aufzutreten. Wichtig wäre, dass du auch ein Instrument spielst, ich suche keine:n reine:n Lead-Sänger:in, ich will teilen und zusammen singen, nicht alles abgeben.
Musikalisch treffen wir uns im Idealfall im Spektrum 2000er Indie, 60s/70s Rock, ein bisschen Punk, New Wave und Post-Punk, ein kleines bisschen Yacht Rock und Offenheit für mehr. Menschlich ist es sehr wichtig, dass wir klicken, uns sehr positiv und konstruktiv begegnen und mit viel Engagement und Zeit zusammen schreiben, live spielen, recorden, etc. Ein bisschen klischeehaft gesagt, suche ich den Doherty zu meinem Barât bzw. den McCartney zu meinem Lennon, etc. – der Vollständigkeit halber: ich freu mich auch extrem, wenn du die McVie zu meinem Buckingham bist o.ä. Mein Ziel ist, tolle, erfüllende Musik zu schreiben und zu spielen und dabei offen zu sein für alles, was sich an Möglichkeiten und Chancen ergibt.
I've been very active for years with my two bands teenweek and The Sprees, as well as with my solo project Phil Farrow and Free City Rhymes. What I'm (and we're) missing in all of these projects is a second voice for shared and alternating lead & backing vocals, ideally with your own song ideas and an interest in writing songs and performing together. It would be important that you also play an instrument — I'm not looking for purely a lead singer; I want to share vocals and sing together, not hand everything over.
Musically, ideally we'd meet somewhere in the spectrum of 2000s indie, 60s/70s rock, a bit of punk, new wave and post-punk, a little bit of yacht rock, and an openness to more. On a personal level, it's very important that we click, treat each other in a very positive and constructive way, and commit to writing together, playing live, recording, etc. To put it somewhat clichée-like, I'm looking for the Doherty to my Barât or the McCartney to my Lennon, etc. — and for the sake of completeness: I'd also be extremely happy if you were the McVie to my Buckingham or something along those lines. My goal is to write and play great, fulfilling music while remaining open to whatever possibilities and opportunities may arise.
